Overview

Finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that prevents the conversion of testosterone to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). It's primarily used to prevent hair loss and treat prostate enlargement, but can reduce androgenic side effects from steroids.

1mg per day for hair loss, 5mg per day for prostate
